Offer comprehensive compliance inspection services on new, existing, and modernized elevators, escalators, and moving walks in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act to Lift Service Providers (LSP) and clients
Conduct examinations and tests on elevators, escalators, and safety components according to South African National Standards (SANS harmonized standards from Europe EN81 Lifts & EN 115 Escalators).
Perform mandatory installation inspections prior to initial operation and 24-month periodic regulatory inspections
Provide pre-commissioning quality inspections and continuous periodic inspections, ensuring compliance with regulations
Manage projects and provide expert guidance on compliance requirements and regulations
Issue test reports and certificates of conformity to clients and LSP
Compile technical reports addressed to the LSP and clients indicating defects and non-conformances, providing recommendations to address any issues
Provide third-party assessments of existing vertical, horizontal, and inclined transportation systems, evaluating the condition of the equipment and identifying areas of improvement
Apply risk management standards to evaluate and mitigate potential safety and compliance
